Mahogany shaped top bureau bookcase on carved feet joined by an X stretcher. The top has 2 glazed doors with adjustable shelves behind. Below sits a full front bureau with pigeon holes interiors and an embossed black leather. Smithers & Sons, Kingston-on-Thames label on the back - Mr. Barber 21 May 1924.
